Although, most commonly they are placed in the corner of a bathroom, so for the purpose of this guide we will discuss a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.showerstoyou.co.uk\/shower-enclosuresdoors\/merlyn-shower-enclosures\/merlyn-m-box-shower-enclosures\/merlyn-m-box-quadrant-shower-doors\/\">quadrant shower enclosure<\/a>. They are fixed to the wall <a href=\"https:\/\/www.screwfix.com\/c\/bathrooms-kitchens\/shower-spares-parts\/cat820276\">using screws<\/a>, with the enclosure frame being screwed to each bracket.<\/li>\n<li>Drill a hole into the wall, before pushing a wall plug through.<\/li>\n<li>Note: This method can change depending on the surface your attaching it to.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fitting Shower Enclosure Frame<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Now, assemble the shower enclosure frame, before placing it onto the brackets.<\/li>\n<li>To do this, attach the glass panel onto the base quadrant frame, using the fixing screws.<\/li>\n<li>Then fix the second upright glass panel to the quadrant frame.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, fix sealing strips onto the top of each glass panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Place the Shower Enclosure into the Correct Position<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the shower enclosure frame is assembled, you can now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.showerstoyou.co.uk\/latest\/2019\/08\/how-to-measure-a-shower-tray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">position it onto the shower tray<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully transfer the shower enclosure onto the shower tray, by sliding the panels onto the vertical brackets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure there is no gap between the shower enclosure frame and the tray.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Assemble the Sliding Shower Doors and Shower Door Rollers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Next, unpack the shower door roller.<\/li>\n<li>Each roller should be placed over the fixing hole.<\/li>\n<li>Fix the fixed rollers at the top of the door.<\/li>\n<li>Fix the movable spring-loaded rollers onto the sliding door.<\/li>\n<li>Once in position, place the cover over the back of the hole, and fix the screw through.<\/li>\n<li>Note: Make sure to use a hand operated screwdriver and not a drill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Place the Door onto the Frame<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the first sliding door onto the shower enclosure frame.<\/li>\n<li>Pushing them down onto the rollers to snap them into place.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat this for the second door.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the gap between the sliding doors is even all the way down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Screw the Handles onto the Doors<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Position the handles onto the outside of the door.<\/li>\n<li>Then secure a screw through each fixing bracket and into the handle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Assemble the Shower Enclosure Doors Seals<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Door seals are necessary to prevent any water from exiting the shower area.<\/li>\n<li>Usually, 6 strips are given.<\/li>\n<li>These should be applied to the fixed glass shower enclosure panels and to the sliding shower door. To fit them, simply push them on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fixed Shower Frame to Brackets<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the shower enclosure frame is fitted in the correct position, it can now be secured onto the brackets.<\/li>\n<li>To do this, drill 2-3mm holes from each of the upright brackets (this should be approx. 3-6 holes running from top to bottom).<\/li>\n<li>Next, pop the correct screw through the provided screw cup and cover.<\/li>\n<li>Then screw it up and pop a cap cover over it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Apply Covers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To prevent water rusting the door brackets, apply a cover over them.<\/li>\n<li>To do this, simply push the covers over the top of each bracket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Apply Sealant to the Shower Enclosure<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A silicone sealant should be applied using a sealant gun.<\/li>\n<li>Sealant should be placed along the outside of the shower enclosure and along the base of the shower.<\/li>\n<li>Once all the areas are filled, leave to dry for at least 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voila!
