The Aqualisa eMotion is the new model & replacement for its impressive predecessor, the Aqualisa Quartz Electric Shower. A-rated for energy efficiency, these durable & versatile shower units don’t put any demand on your home’s hot water tank, instead heating water on-demand. Easy to use, with large digital displays and separate controls for both the temperature and the power, the eMotion is a dream to use and only consumes energy and water whilst in use.

For the best in safety design, the eMotion is equipped with an over-temperature stop function that ensures the water never exceeds the set temperature and never exceeds a temperature of 50°C. If the water pressure should drop, then the Aqualisa unit will display a warning regarding the drop in water pressure. Upon completion of your shower, the Aqualisa eMotion will enter an automatic five-second phased shut-down that minimises the risk of limescale build-up, extending the product’s life.

One of the most appealing features of this new Aqualisa Electric Shower is the retrofittable design, in which it is easily installed as a replacement to any previous electric shower. The Multi-connection options make upgrading hassle-free and replacing very easy.

The Aqualisa eMotion Electric Shower comes complete as a kit that includes the shower unit, a 1500mm stainless steel shower hose and a 105mm splash handset with three spray settings. This product also comes with a 650mm rail, rail ends, hose restraint, an adjustable height slider and all fixtures and fittings required to install this shower.

What Electric Shower KW Power Ratings do I need?

With electric showers, the cold water from the cold water feed is passed over a heating element which heats the water, resulting in the hot shower that you take. The easy-to-use temperature control dials allow you to set the temperature, and therefore, the heating element heats the water to the desired temperature by allowing the cold water to pass over the heating element for longer. Thus, in a nutshell, you setting the temperature tells the shower unit how long it needs to pass the water over the heating element before this is dispersed through the shower handset or showerhead.

Therefore, the hotter the temperature set, you may notice that the pressure of the water takes a dip, as the water spends longer being heated. The Kw rating of the shower determines how fast the heating element can heat the water. The higher the kW rating, the quicker your shower can heat the water; therefore, having a hotter shower ensures the pressure is maintained as the water is heated much more quickly.
