2. How can I clean my Aqualisa Shower

Cleaning your showerhead:

Soak your showerhead in warm water and 2 or 3 spoons of vinegar for 20-40 minutes depending on how much limescale has built up.

Cleaning the rest of your Aqualisa shower:

Aqualisa showers are built with the aim of them being low to zero maintenance, however, if necessary, they can be cleaned by using some non-abrasive bathroom cleaning products to keep your Aqualisa shower squeaky clean and as looking good as new.

3. How can I prevent my showerhead from dripping?

If a shower head is dripping, it most likely means that there is something blocking the showerhead’s plate. To solve this problem, try cleaning your showerhead, as mentioned above in Question Number 2.

If the problem persists, check if there are any issues with the hose – if it has any twists or bends, make sure that you turn them to their correct position to prevent your showerhead from dripping.

If you have followed the steps above, and the problem continues – there may be a fault with your shower. Contact your plumber or, alternatively, check whether your warrantee will cover this.

4. What do power ratings mean for electric showers?

Typically, Aqualisa Electric showers have 3 main power ratings you can choose from, which all vary in price – 8.5kW, 9.5kW and 10.5kW. The higher the power rating, the faster the water is heated up. A higher power rating also affects the pressure. Not only will the water be hotter at 10.5kWs but it will also have a better pressure level.

5. Which shower type is compatible with any water system?

Aqualisa Digital Showers are compatible with any water heating system (a boiler etc). They are also a more modern shower type that won’t let you down with their innovative and sleek designs.

6. Should I buy an Aqualisa power shower or electric shower?

Aqualisa Power Showers provide extra pressure for your shower so if you have a low-pressure water system in place – a power shower will be the right option for you as it will enable you to reach your preferred water pressure in an instant. On the other hand, electric showers use less energy but lack the pressure of a power shower.  If you don’t mind paying a little more in energy bills for a higher pressure, we suggest buying an Aqualisa power shower instead of an electric one. Here are all the things to consider when looking to buy this type of shower. Here is some additional information on electric showers vs power showers.
