This Merlyn 8 Series 900mm Frameless Hinged Bifold Door comes fitted with a one piece hinge that allows it to fold back neatly against the wall, this elegant design 900mm shower door creates a space saving enclosure that provides ample room for showering and includes an impressive 670mm door opening that allows for easy access. Q: Hi, I am interested in the Merlin bifold shower door P/N M87221. It needs to fit into an alcove just over 860mm wide for use with a 900mm shower tray. Firstly will it fit the alcove size? Secondly can you confirm that there are no rollers involved in the design? Thirdly the door will be hung from a partition wall, as the door is likely to be very heavy will normal wall fixings support it adequately or do you recommend reinforcing the wall? Rupert Tucker - 11 months ago Answer: Good afternoon, Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm that this door will adjust down to 860mm Minimum, so as long as your recess is no less than 860mm this will fit. We can also confirm there is no rollers in this design, this has a full length pivot on the wall mounting side, and 2 hinges in the centre where the 2 glass panels join. As for installation, fixings are only provided (wall plugs and screws) suitable for installation on brick wall. Merlyn recommend that all their enclosures/doors are only installed onto brick/solid walls. However, this can be installed onto a partition wall providing it is reinforced and are attaching to the reinforcement/studs. Appropriate fixings will have to be sourced and used. Attaching directly to tilled hollow wall will cause the door to drop and fail over time. For further installation guidance if needed we would recommend speaking directly to Merlyn and your installer. Q: Hi, Could you please tell me: - the height of the door - the measurement of the door when it's folded. If it folded on to the wall where the shower is, would it hit the shower column or head? Geraldine Dyer Field - 1 year ago Answer: The height of the shower door is 1950mm tall, when open the depth of the door against the wall when open is 425mm, so providing that there is no shower colour or head within 425mm, this will not hit. The width of the door when open/folded is approx. 185mm + based on adjustment size.

If I use the delivery option to order Next Day during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), will I receive it on Monday?
Unfortunately not. Orders are processed and delivered during working days (Mon-Fri not including bank holidays). In order to receive an item on a Monday, if using the Next Working Day option, it must be ordered before 3.30pm on the Friday. Orders placed after 3.30pm, or at weekends, will be processed the next working day. Next working day deliveries do not include weekends; orders placed on Friday before 3.30pm will be delivered the following working day (Monday – Excluding bank holidays). Orders placed after 3.30pm on a Friday will be processed the next working day (Monday – Excluding bank holidays) and delivered on Tuesday.
What if I am not home when the delivery arrives?
